The Opportunity: Data Solutions Analyst

As part of the MightyHive Data Team you will be responsible for identifying, deploying, and supporting state of the art data analysis, business intelligence, and behavioral analytics. This role is responsible for providing a data excellence experience to our customers, serving as a trusted expert who delivers solutions that leverage the full breadth and depth of options within marketing, media and data. As both a domain expert and our customers' best advocate, you will map solutions to their use cases, drive the most sophisticated implementations to deliver business results, and proactively identify gaps in the Mar/Ad Tech solution space to help drive the long term roadmap.

Responsibilities include:

Client Facing:

  • Support sales/data consulting with the pitch process
  • Nurture existing client and drive towards data higher maturity via solutions design, road mapping
  • Analyze third-party tracking data to understand the customer journey, key indicators of purchase intent, and sales drivers. Understand media overlap, reach, frequency, and targeting effectiveness. 
  • Deep understanding of Multi-Touch attribution models (MTA) and marketing mix models (MMM) to analyze ROI from marketing spend, optimize spend allocation by channel, and identify key sales drivers
  • Quantify the impact of paid media, organic media, web navigations, and individuals’ propensities on multi-step conversion activities in the consumer journeys
  • Identify new and novel solutions based on research output
  • Identify opportunities for services and support with existing clients with media and data assessments
  • Advise clients on measurement stack and provide recommendations on infrastructure and analysis for end reporting and business goals
  • Provide insights based on unstructured data sources and how to blend sources together 
  • Conduct analyses, visualize data, and generate takeaways for both ad-hoc and recurring reporting needs, using flexible templates

Business Facing:

  • Plan and develop support processes that adhere to best practices for data projects
  • Support in developing training business line for data and analytics 
  • Support in developing productization and commercials for ADH, cloud, new analytics instrumentation, and data modernization projects    
  • Guide client data transitions for cloud lift and shift projects 

Research Facing:

  • Support in creating a data research pipeline focusing on commercial translation
  • Local Interface with solutions engineering, data science, and analytics to build and productize tools, workflows, for data consulting offering
  • Support in defining new measurement projects and POC development
  • Work on partner and product certification (AWS, Salesforce, other CRM, Tealium etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS/BACKGROUND SOUGHT:

  • 2 years of direct, data-focused experience in digital marketing, agency, consultancy
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Operational Research, Econometrics or Mathematics or any comparable experience;, including Industrial and Systems Engineering  
  • Must speak fluent German and English
  • Experience building a comprehensive data strategy from the ground up
  • Thorough understanding of various online and offline marketing funnels and data modelling (MTA, MMM etc.)
  • Expertise in one or more BI and behavioral analytics tools (e.g Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Programmatic media experience (Audiences, Planning, Execution, Ad Verification, Dynamic Content)
  • Platform knowledge (e.g. GMP, Adform, TTD, Salesforce, Adobe)
  • Expertise in big data tools and technologies (e.g. BigQuery)
  • Very data driven and should be curious about and using data
  • Sensitivity to potential trade-offs between performance and branding (e.g. KPIs, Creatives, Channels)
  • Sense of ownership and determination to get things done
  • Be a domain expert on technical data/ advertising/ marketing landscape
  • Track record of mapping customers data analytics use cases and business problems to scalable, easy to use solutions
  • Comfortable demonstrating products & services; ability to provide comprehensive overview of key business use cases
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (upon return to normal operations)
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow
