Accounting Manager

The Role

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accurate reporting of financial results, managing the company’s financial affairs and providing leadership for the association’s corporate and financial governance. 

Responsibilities include(but not limited to):

  • Operational Accounting
    • Manage month-end/year-end close process including: account reconciliations, reporting, flux analysis, etc. 
    • Prepare monthly comprehensive financial analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policies, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to management requirements
    • Support the audit and tax processes to ensure timely filing 
    • Work with the group finance team to ensure reporting requirements are completed timely and accurately 
    • Maintain strong relationship with internal and external parties to identify and improve business processes across the organization
  • Integration
    • Process: billing, closing, reporting, outsourced service providers
    • System: ERP, AP, AR, Expenses, Payroll, etc
    • Coordinate with target’s Finance team to ensure month end close on a timely basis
    • Manage the end-to-end integration process for acquired entities. Responsibilities include:
  • ERP implementation
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and project as needed

What you bring to it

  • Bachelors in Finance/Accounting or related fields 
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in NetSuite implementation or similar ERP preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting, compliance reporting, budget preparation and business plan development
  • Ability to partner with a range of stakeholders from finance and non-finance backgrounds to drive performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Finance experience in Advertising Industry is a plus
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and deadline adherence
  • Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
