Global Account Director

About the opportunity: 

A mission critical role for S4 is the Global Account Director. In this role, you’ll lead and grow the relationship with an existing high-profile client with international scale & reach. Partnering with this client to devise and activate internal S4 partners & entrepreneurs. Working with our regional/global leaders you will be spearheading a client P&L, and mentoring, managing, and growing your global client team. 

Our ideal candidate is a modern marketer with a natural aptitude for team leadership, strategic collaboration, relationship building, and driving growth. We are looking for a business leader who has demonstrated: 

  • Deep understanding of marketing principles and programs with an emphasis on digital marketing across strategy, content creation and media. 
  • Ability to understand clients’ business challenges and develop strategies to address those needs.
  • Proven track record to drive change management within a global organization and leveraging S4 scalable resources. 
  • Proven track record of managing and growing global, multi-million dollar accounts.
  • Capacity to build and sustain relationships with senior clients, becoming their trusted marketing partner. Navigating through a client's internal framework and positioning S4 as the right partner. 
  • Strong ability to identify new opportunities within current client relationships and design strategies for expansion. Activating, where possible, a full S4 service level engagement with the client and its global needs. 
  • Leadership skills that mean others want to work with and for you. Mentor your team members, build a successful career trajectory for team members to participate and succeed.  
  • Outstanding communication skills that ensure our message is always clear and compelling to our client partners

Your experience will include:

  • 12+ years of increasing levels of responsibility in marketing leadership positions at agencies and/or client organizations.
  • Minimum of two to three years agency/consulting experience within the last ten years of employment
  • Experience within the following verticals, technology, FMCG, entertainment & DTC (Direct to Consumer) 
  • Multi market experience and based in one of the key markets across Asia Pacific
